GAS TAP BOX |
COMPLIES WITH LATEST OSHA REGULATIONS |
|           | This Gas Tap Box is constructed of lightweight aluminum and foam filled. The design provides a lightweight unit for easy handling by two people. This unit easily fits into a van or pickup truck. The Gas Tap Box is easy to assemble and install by hand. The Gas Tap Box features carrying bars that double as hangers, keeping the top flush with the trench. Sheeting panels can extend below the bottom of the box to increase depth. The sheeting panels move independently of each other allowing an uneven or clearance at the bottom of the trench. The Gas Tap Box can provide a clear opening with a working depth of almost seven feet when the sheeting panels fully extended.

*** PSF Ratings and depths are based on short term exposure with excavation open a period of time equal to 24 hours or less. Consult manufacturer should long term exposure be required. Depths are based on A, B, C soil types are described in OSHA's 29 CPR Part 1926 Subpart P, October 31, 1989 with Type A not exceeding 25 PSF per foot of depth. Type B not exceeding 45 PSF per foot of depth. Type C-60 not exceeding 60 PSF per foot of depth and Type C-80 not exceeding 80 PSF per foot of depth. Determine actual soil pressures and consult Manufacturers Tabulated Data prior to each use.
