The World Trade Center
American Shoring was contracted to build custom heavy duty trench boxes for the construction of the foundation walls at the World Trade Center site in New York City.
The custom boxes were 6" wall 10' high x 20' long heavy duty trench boxes. American Shoring used their own trucking company, Maragliano Trucking, to deliver the trench boxes.
Because of their unique size, the boxes
had to be loaded on the trailers upside down as you see here. This turned out for the best because no special permits were required for the trucks to drive through the city and deliver at the World Trade Center site.
